FrightWorks is looking for volunteers. You must be at least 16 years old, have reliable transportation, be able to work weekends, and interact well with the public and other crew members. The main requirement is to be passionate about scaring and entertaining people.

We are currently looking for people to fill the following roles:

Build Crew:
We need people to help build the attractions. Prop making may also be involved. Theatrical set and prop building, or general construction experience are desired, but at a minimum you must be comfortable using common hand tools. Those with artistic skills are also needed for set painting and decorating. Build Crew members often perform other roles in the haunt such as working as a monster or helping with operations once the attractions open.

Monsters:
No acting experience required to be a monster, however; there are some speaking roles that need to be filled by seasoned actors. The most important thing is that you have a passion for Halloween and entertaining people. You must be able to show up on time, work weekends, and have reliable transportation.

Makeup Artists:
We need talented makeup artists with experience in either traditional makeup or airbrush makeup. You must be able to work quickly and be creative. You will be required to show us a portfolio and possibly demonstrate your skills.

Costuming:
We need people with fashion sense and sewing skills to create and repair costumes for the monsters.

Tech Crew:
The Tech Crew works to design and implement special effects, animatronics, audio, video, and lighting.

Operations:
The Operations Team is responsible for making sure that the attractions run smoothly from behind the scenes. You may handle such tasks as controlling animatronics, addressing minor problems in scenes, delivering water to monsters, performing safety inspections, assisting with the opening and closing of the attractions each night, and helping with cleanup.

Security:
Experience is required for this position. You must have excellent people skills and be able to resolve conflicts and disruptions without resorting to violence. It is important that you be physically able to perform the duties of this position. This position will also be called upon to help open and close the attraction each night, direct traffic in the parking lot, handle crowd control, take tickets, and help with cleanup.
